Google Docs Voice Typing Improvements

Voice Typing in Google DriveGoogle just added some great new enhancements to G-Suite for Education (Still getting used to that new name…).  A highly anticipated improvement was the addition of some new commands for Voice Typing within Google Documents.   If you’re not familiar with Voice Typing, it’s simply the ability to turn on your microphone and dicate into an open Google Doc.

Some of the new abilities of Voice Typing are: adding comments (LOVE THIS!), text highlighting, inserting hyper and bookmark links, and the insertion of and editing tables in your documents.

Check out Google’s online documentation on how Voice Typing works, and the new commands in section 3 of their FAQ
