I have to learn more about Google Motion Charts
Last year Google acquired a company called Trendalyzer, and I’m sure that most of the programmers joined Google (because they have free M&M’s). In the last few weeks Google seems to have implemented the Trendalyzer tool. Google renamed it the Motion Tool and has added it to Google Docs.
This Motion Tool, as you will see from this example spreadsheet and data, certainly gives MS Excel a run for its money. Can you imagine using this tool in a presentation, or helping your students visualize data that they might otherwise not quite ‘get’ from a static set of number?
